Our mission: affordable and accessible health care

Since our founding in 2010, i2i has revolutionised the delivery of health care in the Netherlands. We have established a new ecosystem that eliminates unnecessary spending, enables an optimal distribution of funds, improves the quality of care, and aligns payors & providers.

Fair Care

Promoting affordable and accessible care

We monitor and benchmark health care providers’ claims and identify deviations in the treatment method. We discuss this with the health care provider.

Deviations without good reason or quality cause will require health care providers to improve their treatment method and to make it more affordable and accessible.

Promoting the quality of the care

To give health care providers insight into the quality of care in relation to the costs, we combine claims data with patient evaluations and outcome measurements.

i2i is a partner of the Dutch health insurers Menzis and CZ in several Value-Based Health Care trajectories. These insurers reward participants who demonstrably improve in terms of both quality and cost control.

Collaborations to improve data-driven care

We collaborate with national and international partners to use data to gain a greater understanding of the actual quality and efficiency of care.

Examples are: lectures, one-off analyses and larger projects to set up ecosystems aimed at fair care with the right incentives and keeping health accessible, also in the long term.
